BiographyDr. Tania Zampini (Ph.D., M.A., B.A.) earned her doctorate in Romance Languages and Literatures with a specialization in Italian Studies from the Johns Hopkins University in 2013.
She obtained her M.A. in the same field from McGill University in 2008. Canadian, she grew up in Montreal, Québec and spent her summers from 2005 to 2014 studying, working in, and conducting academic research throughout Italy, stopping in 17 of its 20 regions. She lived in Florence from February 2014 to August 2018 and currently works as a language instructor, freelance journalist, translator, and independent scholar in Montreal.
She has ten years’ experience with study abroad developments in Italy both as a student and as an administrator. In 2007, she acted as Program Manager to a study abroad initiative on the performing arts in Verona, and in 2014, she was Program Director of a month-long summer study abroad program for 60 high school students in Florence, Italy. While living in Florence, she extended her teaching and research base to young students (2-10 years old) and mature learners (35 years old and older) in the greater Florence area and expanded her network of service providers in the fields of alternative education beyond the confines of Tuscany.
A consummate learner, Dr. Zampini created Triple E Travel drawing from her years of experience - both practical and theoretical - in the fields of academic research, education, and cultural studies.
